Family Hockey Challenge for Camp Awakening

For the second consecutive year, The Jordana Lokash Foundation is proud to present a wonderful charity event taking place Saturday, May 3rd, 2014, known as The Family Hockey Challenge. Due to its overwhelming success last year, the Foundation has decided to make this an annual event, bringing families together to hit the ice and play a friendly tournament in an effort to raise money for Camp Awakening.

Camp Awakening is a non-profit organization providing integrated summer camp experiences and leadership programs for youth with physical disabilities. Last year we were able to pay for 2 accessible wheelchairs for their campers. This year our goal is to use the money raised by the event toward the purchase of 2 Hoyer Lifts for the summer camp programs. Not only does this day bring parents and kids on the ice together, it encourages children to get involved in fund raising efforts. Last year we were able to experience so much fun and joy and look forward to doing the same this year. Thank you for taking the time and being part of a very special day! Feel free to contact us with any questions. Your support is appreciated.
