Wine Tasting Event – Oct. 27th 2014

On Oct. 27, 2014, we will again be hosting a wine tasting event to help raise money for the Sports Therapy Program at Beit Issie Shapiro.

As we have done at the previous tastings, we are once again featuring wines from Golan Heights Winery. We are also expanding the winery presence this year by adding two of Ontario’s premier wineries. Both Tawse Winery and Stratus Vineyards, both located in the Niagara region, will present some of their first class wines.

Our special guest will be Jose Vinas, the National Sales Manager of Yarden Inc. the U.S. subsidiary of Golan Heights Winery. He will give an overview of the Israeli wine industry and an update of the wineries recent releases and activities.

As well as Jose, we will have representatives, from both Tawse and Stratus available to tell us about their wineries and their wines.

Benjy Maor, Director of Beit Issie’s International Resource Development Department, will once again be here to report on the Sports Therapy program and the challenges Beit Issie and the children faced during the recent hostilities in Israel.
